Mona Risk never thought that hazardous waste analysis would lead her to writing novels! When her Ph.D. and work in chemistry landed her company some lucrative international contracts to refurbish laboratories, she traveled to more than sixty countries on business or vacation. To relax from her hectic schedule, she avidly read romance novels and mentally plotted her own books. Eventually she left her scientific career to share with readers the many stories brewing in her head.
Now Mona lives in sunny Florid, but she can’t stay long in one place and continues to travel often. She’s lucky to be married to a man who likes traveling even more than she does. They start their packing with a laptop, camera, and Kindle eReader, and then add a few clothes, and go.
Mona’s muse hits her with new ideas when she looks at the ocean or walks on a sandy beach, and she likes to set her stories in the fascinating places she visits, from exotic Belarus and historical France, to the Islands of Greece and Ancient Egypt, in addition to contemporary romances set in Washington, DC., Ohio, and Florida.
