Stacks of comics and episodes of Star Trek and The Twilight Zone paved the way for Ken Scott Smith’s vivid imagination. His love of science fiction and fantasy led to a career in the laboratory, and after earning a master’s degree, he consulted for the pharmaceutical industry. Smith lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two children.
