Kay Furness has always loved Regency romances and history in general. After leaving Edinburgh University with a PhD in history, she became a history lecturer, although she has been writing since childhood. She has a massive weakness for tall, gorgeous men with a sense of humour, and the dynamic women they attract. She also likes a bit of eccentricity!
Her first romance 'The Reluctant Petruchio' was published in 2008, followed by 'The Counterfeit Countess' in 2009, which was described as 'an exceptional Regency tale' on Fallen Angel reviews. 'The Country Libertine' and 'The Mad Professor' have just gone live on Kindle.
Kay lives in Kent with her long-suffering husband, who is also tall and gorgeous, and is currently writing her fifth novel.
