Emma Black lives in Charleston, South Carolina, and has degrees in Classical Culture and Comparative Literature. She loves taking old stories and twisting them into a modern mold. She's currently working on additional Nymphette stories, featuring mythological characters in scandalous situations, as well as a new series called Sugarbabies. In addition to writing, she enjoys pole fitness, her small (and admittedly yappy) dog, and sweet tea.
Emma Black is a pen name, as there are some things she just doesn't want her mother to find!
As an editorial assistant, Persephone is used to being assigned the worst jobs. She redefines "worst" when she's sent to live with Jeremiah Hades for a week, tasked with making sure he finishes a book on deadline.
Jeremiah is arrogant, moody, and his default volume is "yell." His bestselling love stories and smoky eyes mean he's had plenty of lovers over the years, but he's never found a romance anything like the ones in his books.
When Jeremiah accidentally walks on Persephone coming out of the shower, things start to change. He wants her-- and when she submits to his dominant streak, everything about their relationship changes. Jeremiah's writer's block is cured by long nights with Persephone, and she finds that her tastes aren't quite as vanilla as she always thought...
But Jeremiah's book is almost finished, and the questions looms-- what will happen when Persephone leaves Jeremiah's world and returns to her life in New York? 15,000 Words
