D.B. Sieders was born and raised in East Tennessee and spent a great deal of her childhood hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains and wading barefoot in creeks, chasing salamanders, fish, and frogs. She camped a lot, and loved to tell stories while sitting around the family campfire.
Those days of frog chasing sparked her interest in biology, which she pursued in college and later in graduate school. She is a working scientist by day, but she never lost her love of sharing stories. She's been an avid reader for as long as she can remember and is thrilled to be working as a writer.
D.B. lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband, two children, two cats, and her very active imagination.
