I'm Annabeth Penelope Gambrell. I was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country. I have been writing on and off most of my life, starting in 4th grade but have since lost most of the stories I wrote before 2000.
In 2000, I started writing fan fiction for different anime series. At the time, I was caring for my grandmother and the stories gave me an escape from the stresses of being a caregiver. I continued until after she passed away.
Work took up most of my time after that and I did not have much time to write again for a while but, thanks to having a computer, I was able to hold onto the original musing I had come up with during that time.
In 2011, I put on my fan fiction hat again and wrote a fairly successful series based on a TV show but knew I could do more. On that lark, I dug out an unfinished rough draft for a story called 'The Sword'. I dusted it off, polished it up and put it out there.
I am going to start work on my next story, 'The Bridge' soon. I already have an idea in my mind and am anxious to see where it takes me.
When I'm not writing, I care for foster dogs and find them homes through an organization close to home.
