Red, Hot, & Blue, Book 11

I knew this story was going to be somewhat different from the other stories about this interesting Special Op Team because Matt is the computer guy, the geek, the one who hears things he really doesn’t want to hear. Not only was it refreshingly different, it was awesome and fit the characters perfectly. There was no big fights or super macho stuff but computer bugs and high tech work. Even better, there is a fantastic twist involving mistaken impressions. Who knew Sam could be a sexy woman and not a man? Fighting the terrorists takes all kinds of skills and Matt and Sam have them. However, don’t discount their skills in the bedroom either!

Matt is part of Cat Johnson’s Red, Hot and Blue series. Each book can be read without having read any other book in the series and thoroughly enjoyed. However, read them all. They are awesome.

Matt’s heard and seen his teammates find women and even make love to women while on a mission. Matt also knows that is never going to happen to him because he’s stuck in the communications van with all the computers. He can’t even find a date going through an online service. The only person he seems to be able to relate to is Sam, the Omega team’s communications guy. Surely they would have a lot of the same problems. Sam likes “talking” to Matt and like him she’d like to be more active on the team. So, when a female operative is needed, Sam is thrilled. Sam is to search out a terrorists as part of a harem in Dubai. Little does she know, but Matt is there working on a computer program. When the two meet, more happens that just two co-workers bumping into each other!

Book Blurb for Matt

Some SpecOp assignments are more special than others.

Matt Coleman. Task Force Zeta’s computer expert. Certified genius. Dateless loser. He’s getting damned tired of watching his teammates pair off, while the only thing he’s had his hands on lately is a computer keyboard.

Even Sam, the Omega team’s communications guy—who Matt only knows through daily instant messages—is going on missions while Matt sits home, bored and jealous. Until he finally gets a shot at an assignment in Dubai.

As the only female on Omega team, Samantha Foster isn’t surprised that the mission to Dubai is all hers. After all, only a woman can infiltrate a modern-day harem to ferret out a terrorist-minded mole. The big surprise is when she’s sent along with a guest’s dinner as dessert—and finds Matt on the other side of the bedroom door.

After he gets over the shock that Sam is a woman, Matt is more than happy to help her in any way he can. In the shower. In the bed. Oh yeah, and on the computer too.

This book has been previously published.

Warning: What happens in the harem doesn't always stay in the harem.
