Jane Ashford takes readers on a fantastic adventure with this delightful Regency romance. Lady Georgina Stane is a strong and smart and a woman in love. Lord Sebastian Gresham is a man of honor and strength and devoted to his future bride. I love that this story starts off where a lot of traditional Regencies end off. The fact that these two truly love one another so much yet do not know each other as well as they wish ads an interesting twist to their relationship which until now has followed strict society rules. Watching them navigate Sebastian’s insecurities and doubts and Georgina’s trepidation about her unusual family. Seeing how Sebastian deals with the peculiarities of Georgina’s household is entertaining and endearing and as he reveals his secret a little at a time I couldn’t help but fall in love with him myself and admire him more and more. I adored each and every character in this story as everyone practically jumps right off the page. I cannot wait to read every story about Sebastian’s siblings and I hope Georgina’s sisters get their very own adventures as well. I loved that this story had so many delightful twists and turns and that it left me with a gigantic smile on my face. I just know this is one I will reread again and again.
