Tough Justice: Part 6 of 8

This sixth installment of Harlequin’s special release e-series has Lara and the team digesting all the new information they discovered, while they continue to zero in on “The Ghost”. It’s been a harrowing, long fought battle, but it looks like the team has finally begun to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but one gets the feeling another mind numbing bomb is about to drop.

After reading ‘Twisted’, I needed a chance to catch my breath, so thankfully, this chapter’s pace is just a little bit slower, but there are still a few startling revelations, and a really big break in the case, which is nice to see.

The ending left me with a bad feeling though, as some characters begin to exhibit some odd behavior and for Lara the light is just beginning to dawn.

This is another pivotal installment that sends the series onto a new path which will set the stage for what is sure to be a spectacular conclusion.

Once more, it should be noted that this is a crime story, with limited romantic situations, and these installments must be read in order.

So far, this e-series has been very good, and I am enjoying reading the story in increments. However, if you would rather read them all at once, that is yet another fun option open to readers. Either way, I highly recommend this series.
