Lizzie has dreams and now opportunity. She's going to work for a chef in sunny Italy. But when she arrives he's not available and is away due to health reasons. His grandson is in his place. Now maybe Lizzie has a chance to work under well know chef Dante DeFiore...maybe in more ways than one. Lizzie has to fight with Dante to let her get a chance to even stay as his grandfather never told him about her coming.
Dante is single, rich and every woman's dream catch. Dante is convinced that his family is cursed and never should fall in love. Lizzie grew up in foster homes and has never felt loved. They both have issues they need to overcome.
I felt very sorry for Lizzie and how she grew up and how she feels like she can't be loved. You can tell that Lizzie wanted to accept Dante's family as her own since she grew up in foster care.
Overall this is a story of finding oneself through the help and love of another. The characters have to find themselves, find love and merge those into a life together.
