Interview

Hi Collette! So thrilled to have you on to chat with us. Tell us all about "Brette: Intentions Gone Astray".

A rogue turned rector, Alexander Hawksworth, prefers soirées to sermons and parties to prayers. From the moment he met Brette Culpepper and she mistakes him for a valet, he's intrigued.

After unexpectedly inheriting an earldom, Alex is determined to make the precocious and petite woman his countess despite the recent scandal surrounding her heritage.

Then he's accused of murdering the previous earl even as her new guardian plots to marry her to an aged despot.

What should readers expect from you titles?

My sweet-to-spicy timeless historicals offer readers a glimpse into times-gone-by, always interspersed with pinch of quirky humor.

What's next for you as an author?

I have multiple collaborative boxed sets releasing in early 2017. The fifth book in my Highland Heather Romancing a Scot series releases in May, and I have a novella releasing soon too.

I'm also attending several conferences, and I'm on the preliminary stages of planning a two-book set based on twins from my first novel. I'll be using my cover-model son for those book covers.

Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?

I have a team of fabulous assistants as well as amazing editors, an unbelievably supportive group of beta readers, and a street team to top all street teams.

Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?

I do. Two years ago, my mother suffered a stroke. When we moved her into the care facility, my mother mentioned to the nurse assisting her, that I was an author.

When she asked my name, and I told her, she grinned and said, "I've read all your books!"

We had a nice chat about her favorite characters.

If you could have dinner with an author, who would it be?

Christi Caldwell!! I adore her.

If you could travel to another time, would you choose past or future or would you stick where you are at? And Why?

I'd have to travel to the past! Scotland and England from the 1500s to the mid 1800s absolute fascinate me!

What is your favorite or most fun place to shop online?

Roses and Teacups!

Thanks Collette for joining us.

Thanks so much for popping in to say hello! It's been wonderful.

Anything else you would like to share with us?

It's been such a pleasure!
