In the beginning of the book, Sloane challenged me. But I soon fell in love with him based on the way he interacts with Kat. She brings out the softer side in him. He’s fiercely protective of her while supporting her effort to get stronger. Together, Kat and Sloane have sizzling chemistry laced with an emotional honesty that makes their romance both hot and touching.
But as much as Sloane desperately craves Kat, he’s also sworn vengeance. He can only have one.
