Hi Elizabeth. Thanks for visiting with me and answering some questions.
How many books are scheduled for the Maiden Lane series?
Well, I’ve got six contracted at the moment, but I’d like to do at least another three—maybe more.
Who is your favorite Maiden Lane hero?
Oh, that’s a hard one! I love them all for different reasons, but I really enjoyed writing Godric St. John’s story in Lord of Darkness because he was so sad and initially came from such a dark place. It was lovely to give him a happy ending. ;-)
In Lord of Darkness, what makes Lady Margaret Reading an interesting character?
I loved writing Megs! She’s impulsive, full of life and love, and just a little clumsy. She’s the perfect foil for Godric because he’s very still and a bit over concerned with death. When she comes into his life she whirls around him and completely turns his world upside-down.
Who is on your auto buy list?
Eloisa James, Christina Dodd, and most recently, Juliana Gray.
What book cover in the Maiden Lane series do you like best and why?
I like them all, but I think my favorite is Scandalous Desires, not only because of the colors and the magnificent stepback, but because I happened to be in New York when the cover was shot and I got to go to the cover shoot. It was so interesting to see the process!
