Theresa Meyers gives us a hot romance and a suspenseful mystery in Salvation of the Damned. She shows us how love can breach all boundaries even in death. Meyers brings Raphael and Eva’s story to life with each and every word and captures your interest. I will definitely be looking for more of her writing’s, as I loved reading this book.
Raphael needs to find a sacrifice to bring back and to save his people from certain death. Eva has turned out to be that person. The problem is that he has just realized that she is also the reincarnation of his love Isabeau. She was a sacrifice a long time ago and he has had to live with the pain of losing her. It has been a terrible pain to his heart and he doesn’t know if he can lose her again.
Eva can’t figure why she feels a longing for a man that she has just met. She feels like she has known him for years. When he asks her to go with him to another party, a sort of family reunion she consents and goes along. It also doesn’t surprise her that he reveals to her on the way to the party that he is a vampire, what does surprise her, is that he thinks she is the savior of his people. She is just an accountant and doesn’t think she is special in any way.
Can Raphael give her up again to save his people? Will Eva be able to survive the sacrifice and return to her love? Will Eva’s sacrifice even save the vampire race?
