Lydia Neal admits that she's a sci-fi geek, but she's never had such weird dreams before.  Caves, dragons and weird etchings tumble through her nightmares making her wonder if she's going nuts. When she wakes up in the cave she decides that she has.  The Draca need a savior, a person from the old Dracan lines to reawaken their passions and renew their race.  They believe they've found that savior in Lydia if only they can convince their Prince, Eremon, to mate with her. Eremon is determined that it is time for his race to die out. He never wants another human to die trying to repopulate his species, but he can't resist Lydia. Can these two very different beings save an entire race?

First let me say that this is the first book that I've read by Ms. Kelley, and I liked it.  It started very fast and just kept rolling from there.  I would have liked a little more lead in, more back-story, but there was just enough given to get the gist of it all. Lydia and the Draca has great world building and the characters were solid, with a great supporting cast. I hope to see more of this world and I readers should give this debut author a try.

Science fiction geek Lydia Neal's just recovering from her latest relationship crash and burn. When she wakes up in a glowing cave surrounded by enormous dragons, she's pretty sure she's having a sci-fi nightmare. Why would an entire race of shape-shifters be lusting after her? She doesn’t even believe they're real, but why is she so incredibly turned on? Then she meets the smoking hot Draca, Eremon, and there's no turning back. Especially after he shows her the very special kind of ecstasy a Draca male can offer her, whether on the ground or in the skies.

Whatever the obsessed Draca want from her, she's ready to find out. For once in her ordered, boring life, Lydia's going along for the wildest ride of her life...with Eremon and the rest of the Draca.
