A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Terri
Miki Drummond really didn’t want to go to the party with her best friend, Frankie. Still, she knows that it’s time she start living again. Miki’s husband died less than a year ago and even though she was going to divorce him, she’s not really ready to go out and have fun. It doesn’t take long before Frankie heads off and Miki finds a place in a corner to observe the goings on. What she doesn’t expect is two men from her past to show up. Grant Rogers and Dayne Pierce went to high school with Miki. She had a crush on them, together. Miki couldn’t choose between them but when they suggested she take them both on, she ran. It’s been 10 years and Miki still has a reaction to both of them. Grant and Dayne don’t know why they are both attracted to Miki and want her together. They’ve never wanted another woman that way. They know why she ran 10 years ago but if they take it nice and slow maybe they might have a chance this time. All they know is that they have to give it a chance. When Miki gets drunk at the party, Grant and Dayne take Miki home to their house. When she wakes, they know that they won’t get a second chance so they had better make this one count. Can they convince her to give them a try? This is the second book in a series based on some childhood games. You don’t need to read the first book to thoroughly enjoy this one. The first book was about Frankie and some of it is in the beginning of this one though I don’t think the two books match exactly. Regardless, they can be read separately. The characters are done with taste and flair. Grant and Dayne may be best friends but they are definitely two separate men. They don’t have any sexual interest in each other and that is made very clear. They also have a wonderful sense of humor and a drive to succeed. Each wants Miki but they know they will have to figure out how to proceed together. Miki is unsure of herself. Her husband died while in the company of another woman and it wasn’t the first time he had cheated. She’s not sure why. Her life is in turmoil and she’s not sure she wants to get into something as unconventional as a threesome. Does she dare to give them a chance? There is lots of graphic sex. If a threesome is your thing, this book will definitely not disappoint as all of the sex is within a threesome. It is explicit. However, it also has lots of emotion. Grant and Dayne don’t want a play thing or a just for tonight, they want a relationship based on trust and love. That comes across as they work on defining who goes where and what happens next. When Suck and Blow, the first book in the Party Games series, finished, I knew I couldn’t wait until the next story came out. I fell in love with Grant and Dayne and wondered what their story was. Miki seemed to be an interesting character and I couldn’t wait to learn more about her. Absolutely wonderful. Frankie knows her parties and this one is showing a lot of interesting characters. If you love hot threesomes, caring characters and a fun time, read this series! You don’t have to read the books in order as they stand alone. I loved this one just as much as the last. In fact, I’d love to see more of Miki, Grant and Dayne and see how they are doing. I hope that in the next Party Games book they make an appearance of some sort.

Book Blurb for Truth or Dare
Daring to tell the truth will change the rules of this game forever. When her friend deserts her at an exclusive Sydney house party, Miki Drummond retreats to a corner to observe the insanity. Watching life go by is something she does well, especially after the hell her marriage put her through. She never dreamed she'd reconnect with not one but two blasts from her high school past. And she never expected their heated gazes to bring her body so easily back to life. Grant Rogers and Dayne Pierce never forgot Miki. Ever. Past experience tells them to tread slowly and carefully, but that plan flies out the window when they're all dragged into a game of Truth or Dare. Something's up, because Miki repeatedly chooses to take a shot rather than reveal her obvious pain. Time after time. Waking up hungover in a strange bedroom, Miki is caught in an electrically charged moment with two men who offer her unimaginable pleasure, who seem determined to keep her suspended in sweet torment-permanently. One night of pure fantasy is all Miki dares to take, but come morning the hard truth is that walking away isn't an option. Warning: The author cannot be held responsible for any truth you may tell or dare you make take after reading this story. And if you find yourself sandwiched between two hunky men.take the dare.
