A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Sandra

For centuries Magnus the leader of the slayers has been using the Dragon's Blood Elixir, which gives immortality to those who drink it, to keep himself and his followers immortal. The Pyr know they must destroy the elixir to win against the evil Slayers and to keep the earth and her inhabitants safe. Years before Delany was forced to drink the elixir and because of it he exiled himself from his family and friends for fear of hurting someone against his will.

For years though Delany has been having dreams of destroying the elixir and redeeming himself in the eyes of the Pyr. What he didn't count on was his own Firestorm overtaking him in the form of Fiery Ginger Sinclair. When Ginger though learns what and who Delany is she thinks it’s a noble thing to do but dying in the process doesn't appeal to her in the least.

Will Delany succeed in destroying the Elixir or will Magnus succeed with his own diabolical plans for Delany?

The fourth installment of the Pyr series is as good as the first three and just as action packed and enjoyable to read. The love story of Delany and Ginger is funny at times and tender at other times. The two trying to learn what they want out of their own firestorm and future was fun to read. The love scenes were sensual and hot. I will look forward to her future Pyr books and recommend them also to my friends who like to read about Dragon's.

Book Blurb for Winter Kiss

The mysterious Dragon’s Blood Elixir gives immortality to Magnus, the Pyr’s greatest enemy, and his minions. The Pyr must destroy this source of power, and outcast Delaney vows to complete the quest himself. Delaney was exiled because of his dangerous impulses, and success in eliminating the Elixir will either redeem him or end his suffering.

But his plans don’t take into account his sudden firestorm—or fiery Ginger Sinclair. The firestorm revitalizes Delaney, restoring him to his old self. And when Ginger learns about Delaney’s mission, she realizes she cannot resist a strong man with a noble agenda.
