I wasn't going to like this book. No, really, I wasn't going to like this book, because it was one of those 'things that went wrong with my childhood' books and 'how I have Redeemed my life' and I just wasn't going to like it. But then it made me laugh. And then it made me cry. And then I liked it after all.
It's still a redemption story of sorts. Four grown siblings learning how to be adults, sometimes they make it work…sometimes they don't. It's not all happily-ever-afters, which I appreciate, but it's hopeful, at the end. And perhaps better things will come, at least if they are careful.
