A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: PaulineMichael

Sandra Cox gives her fans a fabulous follow up to the first two fashionable vampire young adult books. I love how likable the lead character is, that she remains true to herself even when confronted with unfamiliar paranormal and romantic matters. Zoe is still the clothing-conscious, blonde who wouldn't be caught dead with chipped nail polish.

The tone of this book is fabulous, keeping a light-hearted teenage voice with a smart and funny heroine. I loved catching up with characters I'd already met and enjoyed the two new additions. As an adult reader I have to say I enjoy reading about Uncle. This was a fun read, providing romance, action and adventure and I highly recommend it to readers of all ages.

Zoe Tempest and her uncle Julian Kilmer have come to Vampire Bay on a routine vampire hunting mission only to discover that their arch nemesis Dere may not have been as easily defeated as they had thought. Now Zoe isn't just battling the cold weather she is in danger of being lured over to the dark side but not if the two men who love her the most can help it.

Book Blurb for Vampire Bay

My name is Zoe Tempest. Don’t let this blonde-haired, blue-eyed Barbie Doll exterior fool you. I’m a vampire hunter. I have been ever since Dere, the king of bad-ass vamps murdered my parents and I went to live with my uncle, Julian Kilmer. Maybe you’ve heard of him. He’s a renowned paranormal metaphysical author. But in the world of the undead, he’s known and feared as a vampire slayer. Besides slaughtering my parents, Dere destroyed everyone that Uncle Julian ever loved. In doing so, Dere forged a bond between us thicker than the blood that binds us. After I moved in with Uncle Julian, and learned to fight, I got my revenge and turned Dere’s butt to dust. At least, I think I did. Since Uncle Julian and I came to Vampire Bay on a vamp hunting expedition I’ve begun to wonder…
