Lauren Fraser provides readers with one hot holiday fling. Celeste is a fantastically modern heroine and an appealing character. I really enjoyed how she and her friends interacted. There is nothing like the camaraderie and witty banter between close female friends. Ben is a fabulous hero, so young and vibrant; so vital and animated yet he is so conflicted and angry. While I wanted to take away his hurt I felt nothing remotely like maternal feelings toward him. The sexual chemistry in this story was off the charts. the spark between these two comes alive as quickly as their attraction and the connection is tangible. I must say that his unique body piercing has inspired my own fantasies. The descriptions of the setting of this story added to the plot and I felt as if I were along on the beach with the cast of characters, but at a much more affordable price. I'd love to see Ben keep his promise and set up Celeste's friends as those two ladies had personalities I'd love to see on the pages again. This author is definitely going on my must-read list. I know that this particular story will be one I read again and again.
While on a Mexican vacation with her two best friends forty-one-year-old Celeste Kopp decides to embrace life and stop living in a rut. First on her to-do list take surf lessons; second on her to-do list is the sexy young surf instructor. Ben is as eager as Celeste to turn fantasy into reality and what starts out as a playful flirtation soon turns into a full blown vacation affair. Soon the two are indulging in all the fun and sun they can. As their time together comes to an end Celeste finds herself wanting to exchange the fling for a future.
