Eve Langlais has made me believe in sexy blue aliens! This is a fantastic erotic romance story for all of those who have ever given New Mexico's area 51 a thought. Maya is a fabulous heroine, I can only hope I'd be as calm and collected as she was when faced with seductive extraterrestrial like Lex. I absolutely love when my heroines are curvy gals and Maya is one voluptuous, capable and clever Latina. I cannot say how much I admired her assuredness even when she felt she had no idea what she was doing. Lex is such a manly man for an alien, he almost borders on chauvinistic. His personality is so potent and manly and I enjoyed witnessing his adjustments to modern earth women's standards. The magnetism between the main couple was practically sizzling and it was so satisfying to observe how each of them struggle with the emotions of their deepening attraction. I have never really been a fan of the futuristic, sci-fi genre but the added space travel elements were highly entertaining and surprisingly realistic. The supporting cast went well beyond cardboard or cliched and helped advance the main relationship. I look forward to seeing some of these characters again. This story supports just why this author has a solid spot atop my must-read list.
When Maya comes across a drowning alien the belief her parent's have instilled in her has her barely batting an eye as she saves him and takes him home. How can she not help this blue hottie especially when the military is set on hunting him down and performing painful experiments. Lex has been sent to earth to collect his preordained mate yet he finds himself falling for the wrong woman and now he is questioning tradition.
