Libby is a woman who likes her freedom especially being naked. All her life she has been wild, well not reckless wild but has had adventure in her life. Her parents taught her to be free and not be afraid of anything. Everything was going well in her life until she meets Rafe on the side of the road. Meeting this guy she knew would change her life and turn it upside down. Everything about him reeks of chaos, something she has not had in her life for a while. Something happened in her past that still hurts, but she is trying to get over it. Living in Colorado has made her feel safe, something that she thought she would never feel again after all the drama of a year ago. Now that she has some peace in life and Rafe is making her feel more than love. She knows Rafe is up to something, but she can’t figure it out. She just knows that she feels loved for the first time. Can she figure out what he is up to before she loses someone?
Rafe has found the key to solving a big case. A case that he knows is about to change with a woman like Liberty Starr. Working for the FBI he must put his life and love life on hold yet Liberty gets under his skin. She is beautiful, sexy, and adventurous. This is something he has never seen before in a woman. For years he has worked hard to make a name for himself but Liberty shows him a side he has never known before, which is just have fun. Being with Liberty is great, but it causes an obsticle in his case. Now he must figure out what to do before she finds out about his real identity. Can he show her real love before it’s too late?
Liberty Starr is not your typical character. Rebecca Grant created a woman that has never been created before. She is a woman who is free to do whatever she wants. She is free to love and be herself not someone other people want her to be. Putting Rafe in her life just makes her more exciting, for now she is adventurous but for the first time loved. I loved that Rebecca created a woman who is not afraid of anything, especially a man like Rafe. She’s not afraid of how she acts. The best part of the story to me was seeing how they both interacted and the chemistry between them was stronger than ever in each chapter. I loved that when one was gone the other would miss them with all their heart. This is ruly a great book and an author worth reading.
