Jane Smithers is a single normal looking gal in her late twenty’s who is a successful Personal Assistant who unexpectedly finds herself pregnant. In her life she has a crazy self absorbed, wealthy mother, known as the Serial Bride. Young fun loving, somewhat loony Russian models who don’t give a moments peace when she’s home and Umberto Rinaldi, her boss, who doesn’t seem to have grown up.
Out of the blue she meets her boss’s estranged son, Michael Rinaldi who has a temper and deals in cold hard facts of logic. He is devastatingly handsome, rich, and successful Lawyer. He is any woman’s dream and is used to getting his way.
Sparks fly, tempers fly and hot blooded impulses run amok as regular Jane meets millionaire corporate lawyer “Nitro” Mike and he decides to take responsibility for Jane’s unborn child. Mike and Jane find themselves in the a situation neither had expected and that their world as they knew it changed.
Storms in a Shot Glass is a fabulous read! This book is a fun loving book and I will definitely be reading more of this author’s works. The story was light and easy to read with some funny scenes that had me laughing. It kept me turning the pages wondering, “what’s going to happen next??
