A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Janalee
One of the best fantasy/magical books I have read this year!
Abigail is introduced into the world of magic and mages when she falls in love becoming Derek’s Vessel, his mate. What seems perfect on the outside holds danger, secrets and rivalry. Abigail’s feelings will be tested and her heart exposed when her life as she has known it, begins to unravel.
Abigail is kidnapped by Trauco, the seducer, the great lover. Through his pain and pleasure, Abigail’s eyes will be open for the first time, and magic as she has come to know could in the end destroy or create. What will happen next?
The Vessel is the first book in the Kingdom series by author Amanda Rose. Let’s just say, I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night. I had to read this book in its entirety. I could not let the characters go until I found out how their lives would turn out.
With a lyrical voice, Ms. Rose breathed life into her characters. Tight writing, a great premise, and memorable characters made this book stand out from many in its genre. I am hoping Ms. Rose takes this series and runs with it.
If you love a great romance, characters with heart and sizzling sex, I recommend you get a copy of The Vessel by Amanda Rose today!

Book Blurb for The Vessel
Tortured and ruined for all women who cross his path, he still remains the most infamous seducer in a world filled with magic and creatures of myth. His one dream? To destroy the kingdom that took everything he ever cared for.
Abigail is everything a man could ask for. She’s sweet and charming, with a little bit of New York flair. She soon realizes her love for a gorgeous prince is the worst decision of her life, and she spirals to new levels of depression. After her kidnapping, it seems her fate is doomed, but she cannot fight the feelings that lurk beneath her conscience. This tortured man who stands before her, offers freedom like she has never felt with another. But will it be enough to erase her past?
Trauco’s love goes no further than the women from which he steals. That is, until he sets his heart on the wrong kind of target. Will he finally fall like the others and take on a vessel, or will his battle for vengeance continue?
