A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Diana Coyle
After losing her beloved husband, Ben, at an extremely young age, Juliet decides that she just wants to hide in the house they were once building together. She wants nothing to do with the outside world and she's perfectly fine with that. That is until she starts taking Ben's loyal dog, Minton, for walks. Eventually, after convincing Juliet that she needs to start living again, her mom decides to ask her daughter to walk her dog, Coco, too and before Juliet knows it she has become the neighborhood pet sitter. Slowly, with the help of her family, her next door neighbor and some beloved pooches, Juliet starts living her life again. I really enjoyed this story and felt sorry for Juliet on so many levels. It was so sad that she lost Ben at such a young age and because of her deep mourning, Juliet was slowly dying inside. I'm happy to see that she finally allowed her family and next door neighbor to help her begin living her life again. This is definitely worth the read!

Book Blurb for Walking Back to Happiness
A delightful new novel from the author of Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts. Juliet's hiding from her feelings about the recent loss of Ben, the love of her life. If it weren't for having to walk Ben's loyal dog, Minton, she'd never leave their half-finished house. Then her mother asks her to take her elderly lab, Coco, along. One dog leads to another, and soon Juliet's the unofficial town pet-sitter. And when she takes on a lonely spaniel, and gets to know its attractive owner, she realizes that her emotions aren't as easy to handle as her canine charges...
