This cookbook, Easy Meal Ideas, SweetPea Delights: Easy meal Ideas For Moms-On-The-Go is a well thought out and planned cookbook. The recipes are easy to follow and there is a Measurements section at the back to convert the recipes, if required. There are many delicious, fast and easy sounding recipes with many that will quickly have you getting up to make or to add the items to your shopping list. I found that many of the items required in a lot of recipes I already have on hand and it will be a fun twist to try these and see the response from the family. There are fun and entertaining quotes throughout the book and there are many hints and tips to make things easier on inexperienced and more experienced cooks. I have been cooking for almost 20 years, mostly floundering as I go, and there are some tips I will soon be trying. The Easy Microwave Peanut Butter Fudge lived up to it’s name, in less than 10 minutes I was licking the spoon amazed at how good it tasted and I had only dirtied 3 dishes. I can’t wait for the family to get home to try them after they have cooled in the fridge. The Bacon and Cheese Casserole for breakfast sounds delicious, I will be trying that one this weekend. The Easy Crockpot Barbeque is quite different to me, I have often used the Crockpot but I will be trying this recipe in the coming days to add some variation to the meal plan. I will also be trying the Easy Meatloaf recipe tonight. All in all, this book is easy to follow and adds some new recipes to my basic cooking.
