When Leslie's father kidnaps her son and threatens to hand him over to the local vampire kiss, she turns to Chris for help. He's hesitant to help her, and with good reason. Leslie has betrayed him before and it put their entire pack into the hands of a madman.
The alpha wolf turned lawyer can't help but assist the young mother when he learns that the child he's been recruited to rescue is his son - one that Leslie has kept hidden from him for four years.
Ms. Carole's story is well written and fast paced. A great read with plenty of action, just enough romance, a luscious alpha wolf and a heroine that has you rooting for her from the start.
