Shelton is just about to the end of his rope. He's secretly in love with his sexy roommate, Nevil, and feels despair every time Nevil goes out with someone new. To make matters worse, Nevil seems to love playing the field and it doesn't look like he ever wants to settle down with one person. Watching the love of his life date so many men, is driving Shelton crazy. Although he wants Nevil in his life, he knows his heart can't take it anymore, and just when Shelton decides that he needs to separate himself from Nevil, his roommate surprises him and makes a pass on him. Now Shelton feels confused because of Nevil's behavior and is unsure of what he should do. Will Shelton take a chance on Nevil and tell him how he really feels? I really liked Shelton in Love by Dianne Hartsock. At just under thirty-three pages PDF, it's really a fast and sexy short story. I thought that both Shelton and Nevil were both likeable characters and I enjoyed reading about them. I understood Shelton's fear of telling the love-em-and-leave-em Nevil about the love he felt for him was portrayed pretty realistically. Shelton was a nice man and a very attractive hero. It was refreshing to see the likeable, nice guy finish first and land the desirable and fun-loving hero. Although, I really liked this book, I do wish it had been longer. I would have liked to read more of Nevil and Shelton's history. Shelton also has a unique physical issue that was interesting and brushed over more than I would have liked it to be. Otherwise, Shelton in Love was a fast-paced, quick read that I really enjoyed.
