Kory Wagner has seen more than her share of death, but it hits her close to home when her sister is killed by an apparent hit and run. Using her experience as a combat medic, she has reason to doubt the police report of her sister's death. In trying to find the answers, she hires a private detective to help her find the answers of her sister's death. Things get tricky when the PI she hires is killed in her grandfather's old warehouse by an expert marksman. Prior to dying the PI says that her sister's death was not an accident. With his dying breath he conveys this message, and hands Kory a key. Now it's a race against time for Kory to find the answers to her sister's death, and with the help of the Sheriff Harding she hopes to find the answers before she finds herself in the cross hairs. This book was awesome and I can't wait to read the next book in this new series. The story line was phenomonal. Anne Patrick has definitely out done herself with this book. She takes the Christian reading genre to a whole new height. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to read the next one in this new series.
