A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Angibabi4
Talk about an eye opener! I never knew all the intricacies of an Amish community. The research done on this book was astounding, with a wonderful tale surrounding the facts.
I love a good mystery. This definitely qualifies. It's amazing how a rite of passage can quickly turn to the dark underbelly of society. A naive group of friends can easily get led astray with the right circumstances. The twists and turns of this story to bring a murderer to justice keep you guessing. Anyone who enjoys a good mystery on a cold winter night with a well thought out plot is in for a real treat. It brought to light for me, anyways, a society that I know little or nothing about.
We know the Amish community exists, but this book actually brought it to life for me. I never realized the depth of family, commitment, and cohesiveness in this relatively obscure society. I look forward to digging in to more of these mysteries in the future.
