A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: A.M. Donovan
Fate of the Fallen is very good, especially for a first book. It's definitely a different take on the whole fallen angel, war between heaven and hell themes. If you are looking for a lot of steamy sex, you will not be getting it here. Yes, there are vampires, fallen angels, demons, hellhounds and more. Plus a lot of very well done fight scenes. Even the main demon characters are complex and manage to evoke some sympathy. Not in sympathy for the devil, drag you to hell kind of way, but in a very humanistic way. Betrayals and rebellions abound. And I thought my family was dysfunctional. This is an excellent effort especially for a first book and I'm looking forward to what she does in the future.
