A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Bob Walch
Bobo is a very good dog so when Mr, Hiccup asks if Bobo will watch his new kitten, Bobo says he will. What a big mistake. Bonkers, the kitten, is not a very well mannered cat and quickly makes a mess of Bobo's house. At this point Bobo asks his friend Cat to give him some pointers on how to make the kitten behave. Cat explains that scratching, meowing, stretching, climbing and grooming are all part of any feline's nature. Once he understands this, Bobo tries to approach his house guest on his level. Is acting like Bonkers going to stop the kitten from going bonkers? You'll have to read this humorous picture book to find out. Children three years of age and older will love watching as poor, beleaguered Bobo tries to teach this little kitten some new, less destructive tricks. Anyone who owns a cat will recognize some of Bonkers' less acceptable behaviors also!

Book Blurb for How To Be a Good Cat
Bobo is a very good dog. So when Mr. Hiccup needs someone to watch his new kitten, Bonkers, Bobo eagerly volunteers. He can't wait to teach his young friend a few tried-and-true tricks. But Bonkers doesn't want to sit or stay or fetch. He'd rather shred the curtains or terrorize the goldfish. Luckily, Cat knows all about cat things-like stretching, pouncing, and landing on his feet. But even with lessons, can a good dog really teach a bad cat how to behave? No matter which animal they prefer, all readers will love the silliness that ensues when this big dog and sweet (but naughty!) kitten go head to head.
